Or helping you to meet the women of your dreams ...yes really..read on..
About 12 Years ago I was working in The UK as a carpenter and had often thought about Moving To Spain And Looking For Work. I had had many good holidays to Spain as a child with my parents  and always wanted the holidays to last longer but never really thought it would be possible to someday live and work there.
Now Here I am living and working in Spain living the Spanish lifestyle and still traveling the world doing the things I love. So how did I do it?...

Well I remember the day I decided to just move to Spain, There i was sitting in my van on my way home from working on a building site in sussex in the south of England. As I sat in my van stuck in a traffic jam that was the norm for that part of Brighton at that time of day, I looked out of the van window as the rain came lashing down, It had been raining for most of that day and I had been wet nearly all day.
There it was.....a poster on the side of a bus stop that showed a pretty girl sitting on a sandy beach sunbathing, I think the ad was for a holiday company. I found myself looking at the picture and just longing to be there.
Why not I thought, I hated my boring job, the weather in the uk was unreliable and I did have some savings for a holiday. Even then I didn't really think about Moving To Spain And Looking For Work it was just a holiday I needed. As the traffic started to move forward slowly I began thinking that as soon as I got home that I would tell my wife that we were going on holiday that next week, we were not going to wait , we were just going.
Then just a few miles up the road and still crawling along in traffic I saw another poster on the side of a shop that had some Spanish dancing girls in national costume, well that was it a real sign that we just had to go. Finally the traffic cleared and I was back on the motorway. Now I couldn't stop thinking about going to Spain and as I thought about it I started to think why not just go and live there for a few months. There really was no reason why we couldn't try it.

Dream Of Moving To Spain And Looking For Work

We had a nice house with some savings not a lot but enough for us not to work for a few months, we had no kids and i was self employed so I could go when I wanted, my wife could take a few months off without pay and still have a job when she returned, all sounded great now it was just a case of convincing my wife who was normally very level headed and I was sure that this was going to be a challenge.
As I pulled up into the drive i felt very excited and saw that her car was in the drive so she was here now just to tell her we are off to Spain.
After the Hi babe how are you I said sit down I need to tell you something, she was tired and had had a bad day at work, it was the end of the week and this was always a busy time for her.
"Guess what" I said, "we are going to be Moving To Spain And Looking For Work
"... I said it as a bit of a joke really and expected her to ..say "yes right ok some day".But no she said " When?  can we go next week". I said "no really why not we could go for a few months to see what its like". "OK lets go then"she said we could go for a few months if you like. I just couldn't belive that she had felt the same way as I did, i guess that we had both had a bit of a day and thats why she was ok with the idea.
We did talk a bit more about it that night and went to bed, the next day I went up to the shop early and on my return to the house was greated by my wife who said "listen I could take 6 months off work and still have a job to come back to, shall we go for 6 months as a trial.
I was blown away as that sounded perfect, we sat down that morning and went over all the details.
1 month later the house was rented out and we were all packed and off to Spain, we had rented an apartment right on the beach in a small tourist part of Spain called Almeria, although we knew very little about this part of Spain we thought that as there were a few tourist attractions there it would be a good place to start. This really was it , we were Moving To Spain And Looking For Work.

The first day we arrived in Spain we talked to the women we rented the apartment from and she told us of a bar that ran a sort of expats club on a Monday night and that we should go as there was many expats there and that I might be able to find some work.
A few days later we headed off to the "club" not really knowing what to expect, we were welcomed in by a nice couple who sort of ran it, there was about 25 people and that number varied from week to week and most had moved there to retire or had a holiday home there, we were quickly introduced to an English guy sitting in the corner who ran a small business doing maintenance work for the local expats in the area, he had been there for a few years and had just bought a piece of land in the hills and was about to start building a new house for himself.

After Moving To Spain And Looking For Work, I found It

He was looking for a carpenter as he had a few guys already that had been working for him doing maintenance jobs but he didn't have a good carpenter. This was perfect and we shook hands and arranged for me to start with him as a trail that next week. As I walked back over to my wife who was chatting to some women in the corner i had a smile from ear to ear as I told her that I had a job and was starting next week.
The money was not good but it was a start and as long as we could pay the rent and some food that would be enough for a start.
So a few days later there I was living and working in sunny Spain, a far cry from just a few weeks ago when I was working in the wet and windy UK getting wet all day and sitting in traffic jams each night. Now after work we sat on the terrace sipping a glass of wine and watched the sun go down.....life was perfect .....although I thought...........
