Jobs for English Expats working in Spain

Jobs for English Expats working in Spain

With more and more people leaving the uk for that better life in Spain  Jobs for English Expats working in Spain are harder to find. The locals are finding it hard to get jobs so the British will find it even more difficult. For the last 10 years now I have lived in Almeria Spain and love it. but It has had its moments when I thought of packing up and going back. If you are thinking of packing up and moving to Spain then there are 3 main points I think that you need to think hard about before making that leap.

1. Ask yourself WHY? and for most it is the weather and the outdoor style life that the Spanish have. Yes the weather is great here most of the year and the dry rain free climate is amazing. If it is only for the weather then i would say just have more holidays in Spain and stay in the uk.  Jobs for English Expats working in Spain all available if you are sure its what you want and you look hard.

 2. If you want to start a new life here then you need to find work and this is now very difficult even if you can speak Spanish, if you cant speak Spanish then you will be very lucky to find anything other than low paid bar work and remember that here in Spain they work from about 7:30am to 9 pm, long days and mostly 6 days a week.  Jobs for English Expats working in Spain are very different here.

 3. Although there is a large community of British here in Spain, you will do well here if you join in with the Spanish people as much as possible, so many times here the British stay in little groups and drink and eat in the English bars, I have found that the ones that tend to stay here long term and do well here are those who mix with the Spanish more. Jobs for English Expats working in Spain. Be prepared to change your way of life completely.
